Vigorón and Chica drink

Vigorón is a traditional Nicaraguan dish. It consists of a cabbage - curtido (chopped cabbage, tomatoes, onions, and chili pepper marinated in vinegar and salt), boiled yuca, and chicharrones (fried pork with skin or with meat) wrapped in banana leaf.
Chica drink is a non-alcoholic bevarage. It is made of purple corn and has a very refreshing flavour.

Tostones

Tostones belong to another favourite Nicaraguan dish. They are made of firm bananas known as plantains chopped to slices and friend. They are salted and with combination of an original sweet flavour of bananas it creates a great taste.

Nacatamales

Nacatamales, are popular corncakes from Nicaragua and Honduras. They are filled with meat and vegetables and packed in banana leaves. Nacatamales are served for special-occasions food or mostly prepared for Sunday breakfast.
